Correct Answer
The first step is to create an upgrade USB stick. Go to www.updatemyunit.net and download the latest software for that model MTS/TBERD. Once the download completes plug in a USB stick and then double click on the software exe file to launch the uncompact window. Use the button provided to select your USB drive and hit OK and wait for all the files to uncompact to the USB. Once the files have finished uncompacting to the USB, eject the USB from the PC. Power the MTS/TBERD down and place the USB on one of the mainframe's USB ports. Hold down the SETUP and the START/STOP buttons (for 4000 use SHIFT and SETUP) then press the power button to the turn the unit on. This will stop the normal boot process and take the user to a boot menu. Release the buttons you were holding down and select the FROM USB choice on the boot menu. The will attempt to reinstall the software from the USB stick.
