If the user would like to use multiples TCP connections and is looking for a recommedation then a good rule of thumb is use 64 KB connections. BDP = Link speed * RTT / 8 bytes Then divide the BDP into 64, 000 bytes to get number of connections to use. This is not a requirement just a general recommendation.
