The MPOLP is sending on fiber 3. Depending on the polarity of the fiber under test (A, C or B), this signal is received by the MPOLS on Fiber 3, 4 or 10. The MPOLP receives signals from the MPOLS on fiber 5. So for issues with the units being able to communicate over a fiber under test, the standard light source and power meter should be used to check for continuity on fibers 3,4,5 and 10.
